Response from London Underground
London Underground would like to thank the
reporter for raising their concern about the lack of workplace risk
assessments for S stock trains.
Neasden depot currently have risk assessments for the maintenance
tasks they carry out on the S stock trains, which are train
preparation and three types of exam - A, B and C.
All the other maintenance tasks are completed by Bombardier
Transport UK. Once they are handed over to the depot workplace risk
assessments for these tasks will be introduced.
