Preparing for life after lockdown
When: 9 July 2020
Topic: Preparing for life after lockdown
In 2020, transport businesses rose to challenges on a scale they could never have predicted, as Covid-19 changed the way we all live, travel and work. And the easing of lockdown brought new issues and obligations, as the country prepared to start to get moving again.
There was a lot of talk of a ‘new normal’ when, in fact, there would be a transition period for some time. Whether it was creating a safe workplace for staff to return to, helping staff to stay mentally well during the transition, or supporting those who remained at home – businesses were called upon to adapt and learn, finding the way forward that was right for them.
We ran a series of hour-long rep learning webinars in place of our summer rep learning events, to enable CIRAS members to share insights and good practice in preparing for life after lockdown.
The webinars featured speakers from across our membership, sharing what they were doing, with an opportunity to ask questions and share ideas.
