Heads up on membership renewal process 

Earlier this month we sent all CIRAS reps an email asking you to confirm who your finance contact will be for renewing your membership next year. If you haven’t already, please double check and confirm your finance contact with us. This prevents us sending your invoice to the wrong place – which can delay your renewal. The diagram below sets out the renewal timeline. We’ll confirm your levy before Christmas and send out your invoice in January. We’ll keep you informed throughout the process, by email and through Membership Matters.

Your frontline matters! 

Do you distribute copies of Frontline Matters to your staff? It’s CIRAS’ newsletter for frontline staff. As your eyes and ears on the ground, they are responsible for over 80% of all reports to CIRAS. We ask all our CIRAS reps to ensure that everyone in their organisation who can use CIRAS has the chance to see Frontline Matters when we send it out every quarter. All reps receive it by email and we encourage you to distribute it electronically as widely as you can.  

Many frontline staff don’t have access to electronic devices, or simply prefer a hard copy. Please let us know if you would like any hard copies for staff to refer to in mess rooms, depots etc. We can send them directly to you and/or to other locations of your choice. Your view matters! 

As a member organisation, we believe it’s crucial to keep our finger on the pulse of what you, our members, need from us so that we can improve our service and the value of membership. Thanks to all of you who have completed our scorecards in the past – your feedback has been truly invaluable. We’ll be emailing our annual survey to all CIRAS reps in November.
