In its fourth year, Rail Wellbeing Live takes place from 7 to 9 November and is for anyone who works on or around the railway. There are 40 free sessions from inspirational speakers: rail industry experts, celebrity speakers, health gurus and fitness instructors.

Once you’ve registered you can create your own agenda of what you want to watch. Get inspiration from the preview website or watch the Wellbeing Wednesday preview events.

Daytime sessions don’t fit your schedule? There are four evening sessions on Wednesday 8 November, with topics including ‘The Railway Benefit Fund: Supporting you in tough times’ and ‘Tips for staying alert and energised during your shift’. And if you’re registered before the event, you can watch it all on demand for two weeks after it ends!

Rail Wellbeing Live 2023 Davina Mccall Steve Redgrave and Alex George

  • TV personality and campaigner, Davina McCall MBE – Lessons I’ve learned, 16:15, 9 November. Davina shares a little about her journey through life so far – or, as she calls it, a ‘work in progress’.
  • Successful Olympian Sir Steve Redgrave – You can win at life, 15:45, 8 November. Steve will outline the strategies he used to get to the top and show you how to apply them in all walks of life. Plus, insight into how to motivate yourself to achieve your best and how to be prepared for anything on your way to achieving your goals.
  • Physician and mental health ambassador, Dr Alex George – Why mental health matters, 11:45, 7 November. Hear his personal story and why he’s passionate about mental health, including the loss of his brother to suicide. Alex will tackle the stigma and myths around the perception of mental health. What is good mental health? And how can we learn to curate our own mental health tool kit to keep us balanced?
