CIRAS will be exhibiting at the UK light rail conference in Nottingham.

The event is the only conference in the UK dedicated to light rail. CIRAS stakeholder manager Katie Johnston will be giving a talk about what workers in light rail have been telling us about safety reporting in the sector.

We ran focus group research in conjunction with the Light Rail Safety and Standards Board at the end of 2025. Katie's talk will be an opportunity to discover what we found out from frontline workers about safety reporting practices and the reporting gap in light rail, as well as how the research was conducted.
